The case is a toy poodle, 13 years and 10 months old, neutered female, 4.2 kg, who came to our hospital with a chief complaint of anterior chamber hemorrhage in the left eye, and an ocular ultrasound examination confirmed a mass lesion in the nasal ciliary body region. We suspected an intraocular tumor and performed eyeball enucleation. Postoperative histopathological examination diagnosed malignant melanoma. In this case, the preoperative examination determined that there was no tumor invasion into the periocular tissues, so we chose to perform extirpation using a transconjunctival approach.
