The patient was a toy poodle, 8 years and 3 months old, who came to our hospital with a chief complaint of lameness in his left hind limb for 2 weeks, and was diagnosed with anterior cruciate ligament rupture based on knee joint X-ray images. The torn ligament was trimmed, the damaged meniscus was removed, and extra-articular braking was performed.
[Pre-operative conference] will explain the interpretation of the X-ray images that led to the diagnosis, and [post-operative conference] will explain details about the actual surgical technique.
